![]() ![]() ![]() Hope this helps! Enter a password in the Terminal window on Mac. If your password was spelled wrong, it will prompt you to enter it again. If your password was entered correctly, the action will continue. Just try typing your password out, and hitting enter. The password does not show up in the terminal when you type it, but that is for security reasons. Security find-generic-password -gs where,-g: is used to display the password for the item found. Then you would input: security find-internet-password -gs On the other hand if we are talking about a generic password, we use the command. Suppose we are talking about an internet password of a site. A new window will show up, waiting for you to enter a command. With your Mac now in Recovery Mode, click on Utilities in the menu bar followed by Terminal. ![]()
